Back in 2013, when one door closed, another opened. 

A previous promotor and DJ duo consisting of two brothers from California paved the way for things to come in 2011 as they provided a stage for bands and DJs alike to share their love for dark and spooky music, as well as providing community and connectedness. This would prove to be successful, but short lived, as the group separated after just a couple of years, with one brother taking what was built and leaving town with its name and concept. However, a bit of its legacy was left behind; the Godfather of EG, the one and only - H0BG0BL1N.

An artist, visionary, and creative mastermind, H0BG0BL1N had the grand ideas, the established setting, and the experience, but not the manpower to keep the ship afloat for long. It was going to take a collective to continue to make big waves in a small market, and luckily for H0BG0BL1N, also left behind was a crew of like-minded individuals ready to join him to take on the challenge!

First was longtime scene staple and ageless goth wonder Lunagoth, who had been attending and DJing events for many years already and had their finger on the pulse of the gothic culture in Spokane. Then came the young buck - Wyrmwood - hungry, motivated, and armed with a knack for networking and connections to several other, more 'alternative' scenes. Lastly, primarily due to the ownership of reliable transportation, a recently purchased brand-new DJ controller, and a deep, burning desire for an industrial scene to exist in our hometown, there was the good Doktor Reaktor (currently DRx).

Through this collection of like-minded yet diverse individuals, something new must be formed from something old. The first order of business - what were we to be called? As if he'd been thinking of it for years, the incomparable H0BG0BL1N dubbed the new creation "Elektro Grave Entertainment". It was perfect.  Shortly after that, the mad scientist himself created a tombstone out of a TV box, toy parts, hose, and other scattered bits that adorned the stage for years. An icon was born, and in 2013 - it had officially begun. 

From that day forward, there have been hundreds of dance floors at multiple venues rocked (both full and empty), bands from all over the US brought to town, live streams arranged, parties thrown, partnerships created, and a dark music and culture scene sustained, maintained, and even grown. 

The success of Elektro Grave Entertainment over the years only exists due to the contributions of multiple artists and DJs, the support from local venues, the backing from our local scene, and the patronage of anyone and everyone that has attended anything we've been involved with. We're only here because of you, and as a result - Elektro Grave will always rise!
